Moved The Traveler 7373.14 miles by placing it into geocache GC16K4R. Made a quick stop in another warm part of the world, Guam. Had just enough time to visit a local cache after having a great meal at Outback Steakhouse. Tried to take a picture of the travelers that I had with me and realized that I had forgotten to put my camera in my bag...hehehe, had to purchase a disposible so I will have to wait until I return home to get the pictures uploaded. Aloha! |

Moved The Traveler 2927.39 miles. Made a quick, real quick stop at Brunei. The stop was to get the ship prepped for coming back to home port so I didn't get much time at all to explore the beautiful capital city of Bandar Seri Begawan. Did manage to make a trip to the Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, and the Pasar Gadong wet market for some great bbq'ed food. I wasn't able to hit the only active cache in Brunei due to the shortness of the visit but we were able to snap some good pictures. |

Moved The Traveler 7812.79 miles by placing it into geocache GC1E3FA. Dodging dodgy telephone wires, riding elephants and go carts, being offered to go see a "show" or get a custom tailored suit every thirty seconds. Yep, must be Thailand. Pattaya, Thailand was very interesting and the caches proved to be just as such as well. From exploring light houses to Buddhist temples all the way to giant hills covered with trash it was interesting to say the least.
The adventures shall continue! |

Moved The Traveler 5551 miles by placing it into geocache GC1TFEW. 60 hours, that was how long it took from recieving that fateful email to go from Singapore to Montana to try to be with my grandmother in her last moments. Unfortunately while I was in route she passed peacefully.
While back in the states I was able to attend to my own house after the funeral and had a chance to go out to some nearby caches while I sorted out my own emotions. If you get a chance take the easy hike up Mt. Otis near Havre and if you get up there on a clear day take in the immesurable beauty that is Montana. You can see for over 50 miles on a good day. All I can say is I'm glad I live in such a beautiful state. |

Moved The Traveler 7403.81 miles by placing it into geocache GC1MRAD. Kota Kinabalu, Sabah was the next stop for our all expense paid vacation from Uncle Sam. The previous day the traveler and I took on Mount Kinabalu in a day hike that will be remembered for quite some time. Scaling the Mountain we passed a beautiful waterfall and had a great time admiring the sceanery on both sides of the trail before we suffered dissippointment just a couple kilometers from the top. Seems the gate closed at noon to allow climbers to get to the top and make it back before dark. Still the climb gave us the new goal of returning and succeding the next time we came back.
Back in the town of Kota, Kinabalu the traveler and I made our rounds through the town exploring the shops and waterfront. Along the way we made a stop at the towns oldest structure to get a cache. The clock tower still functions to keep the towns time and dispite the obvious CITO opertunities nearby is still great to visit. |

Moved The Traveler 0 miles by placing it into geocache GC1JX75. Next stop on our short tour of South Korea was the Korean Demilitarized Zone, home of high tension, one of the most dangerous golf courses, and our entrepid little liberty group. Braving the cold stares of the North Korean border guards we traveled though the Joint Security area to the bridge of no return. Afterwards it was back to Busan to embark on our little grey cruise liner to our next destination. |

Moved The Traveler 0 miles by placing it into geocache GCYK3B. Next stop was the beautiful city of Busan, South Korea. Quickly leading my liberty buddy from the down town area we climbed a nearby hill to get a masterful view of the surrounding land. The cache at this area was filled with items and was a pleasent surprise compaired to most of my finds that only have a couple items in them.
Next stop for this little traveler was filled with danger and excitement! Stay tuned! |

Moved The Traveler 5489.12 miles by placing it into geocache GC1655H. Finally was able to log back into there to document the adventures of this traveler. First stop was Donghae, South Korea. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stop at any caches this time but I did take the traveler with me to the Mureung Valley for a breath taking hike past some beautiful temples and a couple water falls before having to leave for the next port. Busan, South Korea, and a special trip for our traveler awaited. (Note: The cache noted(Welcome to Gangneung ) was a previous find just north of Donghae. What made it fun was the fact that my liberty group was part of a handful of round eyes in the city. Made it fun to try and make the find at a busy bus stop with all the populace, cab drivers, ect trying to figure out why we were there. :D ) |
